Annual Christmas Meal/Panto for Deaf Elders
Annual Christmas Meal/Panto for Deaf Elders
Committed Staff from BID Services with Deaf People and the Deaf Cultural Centre organised the annual Christmas meal and panto for Deaf Elders. This took place on Wednesday 19th December.
The DCC Team with BID Staff and volunteers dished out turkey with all the trimmings and offered a choice of Christmas Pudding, Black Forest Gateau or Fruit Trifle to more than 70 elders.
BID's Prison Project Manager, Steve Richardson, and our Community Development Manager, Robin Ash, took on the lead roles of Scrooge and his colleague Bob Cratchit alongside co-workers to deliver an hilarious performance.
