Annual Christmas Meal/Panto for Deaf Elders (Dec 2008)
Annual Christmas Meal/Panto for Deaf Elders
Committed Staff from BID Services and the Deaf
Cultural Centre organised the annual Christmas meal and panto for Deaf
Elders. This took place on Wednesday 17th December.
The DCC Team with BID Staff and volunteers dished out turkey with all
the trimmings and offered a choice of Christmas Pudding, Black Forest
Gateau or Fruit Trifle to more than 70 elders.
Our Community
Development Manager, Robin Ash, took on the lead role of Pinocchio with excellent support from Michael Matthews, a Support Worker from BID's Supporting People, in his role as Pinocchio's sidekick, Jiminy Cricket. They performed alongside co-workers to deliver an hilarious
show.
