The Deaf Cultural Centre will run a play scheme during the school
holidays for deaf children living in the Birmingham area aged 8 to
13 years old. This will take place during 16th August 2010 – 27th
August 2010 ( 2weeks)
We are seeking to recruit a Play scheme Leader & Play workers for the play scheme.
Play leader - £7.69 per hour
Play workers - £6.50 per hour
Volunteers also required
Casual contract (As and when required)
The Play Leader will be responsible for running the scheme daily and the Play workers will assist by promoting a high quality, child-centred play service within a safe and secure environment. The successful candidates must have excellent BSL skills and should have a recognised qualification in child care, play work or youth work (e.g. NNEB) and a First Aid qualification if desirable.
Applications from Deaf people are particularly welcome.

Interviews: Friday 6th August
